a short children's documentary by Liesbeth De Mey

The new school year brings new challenges for 14 year old Sana. She is starting at a new school where she will learn all the ins and outs of the world of baking. In the evenings she is training hard for her very first international boxing match. In a couple of weeks she and some of her team mates have been invited to fight at the Olympic Center in Pisa. How will she cope, combining these two big passions that are both demanding a lot of her? Will she manage to juggle both and succeed in finding her footing?

About the director

Graduated in 2014 with a Master in Documentary Directing from RITCS, Liesbeth went to Paris to do an internship at VideoStitch, a company specialized in 360° videos, where she assisted in several short film productions. After the internship she returned to Brussels to work as a freelance director, writer, videographer and editor. She occasionally gives filmworkshops for the youth filmfestival JEF.

Liesbeth is currently directing her very first children's documentary after being selected to participate in the 5th edition of the Ket&Doc workshop.
